Players Have Caught Nearly 300 Million Pokemon In Pokemon GO’s Global Catch Challenge

The first day of Pokemon GO’s Global Catch Challenge is over.

Niantic has revealed that trainers all over the world caught 298,154,864 (298 million) Pokemon in just the span of one day. The Global Catch Challenge unlocks global rewards based on the number of Pokemon caught, with the minimum reward tier unlocking at 1 billion Pokemon and the maximum at 3 billion.

There are still 6 days left to hit the 3 billion mark, so be sure to chip in as much as possible if you want Farfetch’d to spawn worldwide!
