Players Discover “Debug Cubes” Still Visible In Super Mario 3D All-Stars’ Version Of Super Mario Sunshine
Been enjoying Super Mario 3D All-Stars on Nintendo Switch? Well, you may have come across some…strange artifacts while running through one of its colorful worlds.
In particular, players have discovered ‘debug cubes’ still visible within the collection’s version of Super Mario Sunshine. When exploring the level ‘Secret of the Dirty Lake’, players will see these cubes outlining the movement path of certain blocks – as seen below:
In Super Mario 3D All-Stars, you can see the "debug cubes" in Super Mario Sunshine in the "Secret of the Dirty Lake" stage, which previously only showed up in unofficial emulations of the game like on Dolphin Emulator, they didn't show up at all in the GameCube original. pic.twitter.com/chWWCnIR8a

Usually, these cubes only appear when the game is emulated on non-GameCube hardware – so it looks like Nintendo might have overlooked them when putting the collection together. Currently, this issue is still present in the latest Version 1.0.1 patch for Super Mario 3D All-Stars.
We’ll just have to wait and see if this issue is addressed with a future update. Stay tuned!
