Pokemon 30th Anniversary Pokéxciting Campaign Announced For Asia

The Pokemon Company has announced a special campaign to celebrate the franchise’s 30th Anniversary in Asia.

The campaign is called “Pokéxciting” and is planned to take place in various cities starting from September 2026 according to the schedule below. There will also be Pokemon GO events run in the respective cities during the stated periods.

• Kuala Lumpur: September 12 – 13, 2026
• Taipei: October 10 – 11, 2026
• Singapore: November 7 – 8, 2026
• Manila: January 23 – 24, 2027
• Bangkok: February 13 – 14, 2027

So far, specific details have only been shared for the Kuala Lumpur event in Malaysia have been announced as follows:

• Will take place at KLCC Park, admission is free
• Features a Drone Show and a meet & greet with PokéXciting Pikachu, which has a different colour costume for each city
• Special merchandise for sale featuring PokéXciting Pikachu
• Night Stage featuring special shows featuring PokéXciting Pikachu
• Other Daytime activities for families
• A special pop-up Pokémon Center will also be available in KLCC from September 12th through December 21st. It will have special themes every 3 weeks
