The Pokemon Company has revealed another two main characters debuted in the upcoming new Pokemon anime season.
The new faces are Friede, a “battling Pokemon Professor”, and his partner Captain Pikachu. Both of them will be accompanying the two new main characters Liko and Roy on their journey. In the case of Captain Pikachu, its confirmation that the franchise’s original mascot Pokemon will indeed be present in a major capacity, even if its not the same Pikachu fans are familiar with.
This new season of the Pokemon anime will begin on April 14th 2023 in Japan.
