Pokemon Center London Closes Entry Queue Nine Hours Early, Due To Overwhelming Demand
Today, Pokemon Center London finally opened its doors to an eager British public – offering exclusive merch and more to visitors. However, it looks like the hype for the pop-up store may have been a little too high.
Westfield London, the shopping mall hosting Pokemon Center London, announced that the store’s entry queue would be closed as of 1 pm BST today. Normally, the queue was to close at 10 pm BST – but there were just so many fans lining up that it was impossible to accommodate all of them!

The line doesn’t end by the by. I did the math… well, and I went to the back of the line. #PokemonCenterLondon pic.twitter.com/4Ocs2r8yf4

Talk about Poke-mania! We can only hope the queue goes down by next week – if it ever lightens up at all.
