The Pokemon Company has announced a huge “power-up” expansion for Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo at Sunshine City in Tokyo, Japan.

The expansion will include three new areas at Sunshine City, scheduled to open on December 19, 2019. Check out the new areas below:

Pokemon Go Lab.

The world’s first Pokemon GO Lab. is opening at Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo. It includes a lifesize statue of Professor Willow, a Pokemon GO gym recreated in the real world, and artwork from the games. This is a place you can find Pokemon GO trainers to befriend and battle. Original Pokemon GO merchandise will be offered as well.

Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe

A new F&B take-out concept called Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe will open at Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo. This stall will serve Pokemon inspired desserts, beverages, and more.

Pokemon TCG Stage Mega Tokyo

A new location catering to Pokemon TCG fans called Pokemon TCG Stage Mega Tokyo is opening soon! This new location will host Pokemon TCG events everyday. To commemorate the opening of Pokemon TCG Stage, events catering to trainers of elementary school age and below will be held on December 14 and December 15, 2019.

Kids Play Space

A Pokemon play area for kids designed after Pokemon Kids TV will be opened at the second floor of Sunshine City. The play area includes Pichu TV stations and other ways to play.
