Pokemon Center Taipei Draws Huge Crowd On Opening Day, Tickets Reportedly Scalped

Earlier today, The Pokemon Company opened a new Pokemon Center outlet in Taipei, where it is now the second permanent Pokemon Center location outside of Japan.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the new Pokemon Center drew a huge crowd on its opening day, with some reports claiming a there was a line of over 1,500 people to get in. Although the store set up a queue ticket system to manage visitors, this led to a new problem of people selling scalped tickets in person and online.
