It looks like Pokemon fans can look forward to enjoying the series’ iconic battles against others across the globe, at home or on the move!

During today’s Pokemon Presents broadcast, The Pokemon Company unveiled Pokemon Champions  – an entirely new title heading to Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. The game is now in development by Game Freak and The Pokemon Works.

As seen in the teaser trailer below, Pokemon Champions will allow players to participate in core-style Pokemon battles against other opponents over the internet. Additionally, The Pokemon Company has shared that the game will have connectivity with Pokemon Home – allowing trainers to bring their favorite Pokemon from other games into Pokemon Champions as well.
