Pokemon Crystal’s Japanese Retail Release Looks Classy

When Pokemon Crystal launches on January 26, trainers in Japan will get to purchase it in a Special Package that other regions do not get.

The Special Package contains a download code to redeem Pokemon Crystal on Nintendo 3DS, a 3D magnet that resembles the original Pokemon Crystal Game Boy Color cartridge, a sticker sheet that looks like the original Pokemon Crystal instruction booklet, and a poster featuring all of the Pokemon in the game. It’ll retail for 1,389 yen (exclusive of 8% tax).

This is pretty similar to the Pokemon Gold and Silver special packages released earlier this year.

You’ll soon be able to pre-order the Pokemon Crystal Special Package from Amazon Japan. We’ll let you know once pre-orders go live.
