Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and Game Freak, the owners of the Pokemon brand, have registered a new trademark for “Pokemon Design Lab” in Japan.

The trademark was filed for merchandising purposes under categories for “leather, household appliances, clothing, and manufacturing/processing”, apparently including up to 71 different product services. The list of product services does not include videogames.

Most likely, Pokemon Design Lab is a new line of merch planned to be released in the future. We will be sure to bring more information about it as it comes.
