Last year, The Pokemon Company held a travelling exhibit called Pokemon Fossil Museum, which aimed to teach visitors about paleontology by combining real life fossils with the fossil Pokemon featured in the games.
It has now been confirmed that the exhibit will be continuing its tour of Japan in 2022, and will appear at several new locations such as the National Museum of Nature and Science, Toyohashi Museum of Natural History, and Oita Prefectural Art Museum. Exhibits will once again feature exhibitions of Pokemon and real-life fossils, as well as Pikachu in its archeologist outfit.
The new locations and dates for 2022 can be found below:
- National Museum of Nature and Science (Tokyo Prefecture)
- March 15, 2022, to June 19, 2022
- Toyohashi Museum of Natural History (Aichi Prefecture)
