Pokemon GO players will soon be able to experience another blast from the past!
Niantic and The Pokemon Company have announced another “Community Day Classic” event for the mobile game that will take place on 10 April 2022 (2pm to 5pm local time). Making its return will be the featured Pokemon Mudkip from the Hoenn region – and if players evolve Marshtomp (the evolved form of Mudkip) into Swampert during the event or up to two hours afterwards, it will learn the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.
Bonus buffs during the event will include 3 times Catch XP, 3-hour incense, 3-hour lure modules. Additionally, a Special Research story titled “Mudkip Community Day Classic” will also be available for $1 USD.

- If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!
Exclusive Attack
Evolve Marshtomp (Mudkip’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Swampert that knows the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.

- For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access a Mudkip Community Day Classic–exclusive Special Research story.
