Pokemon GO Community Day January 2022’s Featured Pokemon Will Be Spheal

Niantic and The Pokemon Company have unveiled details for January 2022’s Pokemon GO Community Day.

The next Pokemon GO Community Day will run on 16 January 2022 (11am to 5pm, local time). This time, the featured Pokemon is Spheal, the Clap Pokemon from the Hoenn region. If players evolve Sealeo (the evolved form of Spheal) into Walrein during the event or up to two hours afterwards, it will learn the Charged Attack Icicle Spear and Fast Attack Powder Snow.

Bonus buffs during the event will include 3-hour incense, 3-hour lure modules, and 3 times Catch XP. Additionally, a Special Research story titled “The Spheal Deal” will also be available for $1 USD.
