The mobile AR title Pokemon GO has now hit another staggering milestone since its launch in 2016.
Niantic and The Pokemon Company have confirmed through a new lifestyle trailer that the spin-off game has been downloaded a total of one billion times worldwide. You can view this trailer below.
Of course, this doesn’t account for individuals downloading the game multiple times – but it’s still a staggering number nonetheless! As Nintendo Life puts it – if every one of those downloads was a real person, they could form the third largest country in the world – only behind India and China!
Will Pokemon GO only continue to ascend upwards? How many hours have YOU spent on it? Let us hear your comments below!
