Mobile analytics firm Sensor Tower has published a report on Pokemon GO’s revenue and downloads for September 2018.
The company estimates Pokemon GO made USD84.6 million in September. That makes it the No. 4 top grossing smartphone app in the world for the entire month. September’s gross revenue is the highest for any month since November 2017, and it’s a 15% increase when compared to August 2018. In addition, it’s a whopping 89% year-on-year improvement over September 2017.
Not only has Pokemon GO raked in a lot of money – the app was downloaded 8.86 million times worldwide in September alone. That makes September the strongest month in 2018 for downloads. It’s a 100% year-on-year increase over September 2017.
After adding September’s figures, Pokemon GO has made USD2.01 billion worldwide since launch, and has been downloaded over 522 million times.
