Since trainers successfully completed all three parts of the Global Challenge, Pokemon GO has unlocked the Ultra Bonus Rewards for all trainers.
The first notable per of these rewards is that Eggs placed into Incubators during the three-week event period will require half the normal distance to hatch.
Week 1:
During the first week of the Ultra Bonus, from September 2 at 1 p.m. PDT to September 9, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT, Trainers will have the opportunity collect some incredible Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region.
- Unown U, L, T, R, and A may hatch from 10 km Eggs.
- Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will return to Raid Battles alongside other Pokémon originally discovered in Johto.
- If you’re lucky, you might encounter Shiny Sentret and Shiny Gligar!
Week 2:
The second week of the Ultra Bonus, from September 9 at 1 p.m. PDT to September 16, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT, will feature the Mythical Pokémon Deoxys and some Pokémon that can ordinarily be encountered only in certain parts of the world.
- Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros may hatch from 7 km Eggs. You might even hatch Shiny ones! (These Pokémon will continue to be available in Eggs until the end of week 3.)
- All Deoxys forms will make their debut in five-star Raid Battles.
- Pokémon effective against Deoxys in battle will star in other tiers of Raid Battles.
Week 3:
The final week of the Ultra Bonus, from September 16 at 1 p.m. PDT to September 23, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT, will introduce Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region! But that’s not all…
- Mewtwo that know the special move Psystrike will be available to challenge in five-star raids. And if you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Mewtwo!
- Klink, a Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region, will also be appearing in raids. Lucky Trainers might encounter Shiny Klink, too!
- Trainers looking to start their collection of Shiny Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region should also get out and go exploring, because they might encounter Shiny Patrat and Shiny Lillipup.
Finally, all Trainers will be able to undertake new Special Research. If you complete the research, you’ll be able to catch Jirachi! If you already completed the Special Research tasks at a Pokémon GO Fest and obtained a Jirachi, you’ll earn some extra Jirachi Candy instead.
