The Pokemon Company has issued a correction regarding the release date for Pokemon HOME‘s Scarlet/Violet compatibility update.
According to a post on the official English Twitter account, the May 24th release date that they originally announced was a “mistake”. The actual launch date of the update is instead “yet to be announced”, although it is “coming soon”.
Interestingly, the original Japanese news release for the update made not mention of any specific dates for its release, suggesting that the mistaken announcement was a result of miscommunication between the Japanese and Global branches of The Pokemon Company. We will be sure to report back with the updated date once it is announced.
