In a Famitsu interview with Game Freak developers, Junichi Masuda revealed new details on Pokemon Home, the upcoming Pokemon storage cloud service launching in early 2020.
Besides being a place to store Pokemon, Masuda revealed Pokemon Home would have some playable features, though he did not elaborate what sort of features those are.
He also went into depth about the concept of Pokemon Home, which Game Freak envisions as a home for a player’s Pokemon. If a Pokemon is not native to a certain region (like if it’s too cold for them), they will stay “at home” and wait for their next adventure.
