The Pokemon Company has shared more details about the newly revealed Mega Greninja, Mega Delphox, and Mega Chesnaught.

According to the ending of the Japanese trailer, the Mega Stones required to Mega Evolve the three Pokemon are to be distributed as Ranked Battle rewards in the Pokemon Legends Z-A Z-A Battle Club online multiplayer mode, starting with Mega Greninja.

Essentially, this means players who want these stones will be need a Switch Online subscription to participate in the multiplayer mode. At the time of this writing, it is not known whether there will eventually be alternative means to acquire the stones.
