Players have discovered a major change to Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

According to reports, Shiny Pokemon that appear in-game will not despawn and disappear unless deliberately fainted or chased away by the player. The Shiny Pokemon will seemingly remain even if the player walks away from it, closes the game, or if the time of day changes to night. The Shiny Pokemon will remain where it is until the player comes to claim it.

In theory, this means that Shiny Pokemon will continuously build up for players the longer they play the game, with the auto-save feature saving any Shiny Pokemon that might have spawned outside of the player’s sight. If accurate, this would be a welcome change for many players who have had poor luck encountering Shiny Pokemon, which have a very law spawn rate in the Wild.
