The Pokemon Company has announced that Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee will get a patch later next month in January 2019. The patch will mainly focus on fixing existing bugs and issues instead of implementing any new features.
The update will fix an issue whereby Pokemon received through “Mystery gift” do not register in the Pokedex.
Players are recommended to save the game after receiving a “Mystery gift” until the patch can fix the bug
