DeNA has published a new message from the development team of Pokemon Masters EX, sharing a new milestone the game has reached along with some details about upcoming events and updates.
As of 25th April, Pokemon Masters EX has reached 40 million downloads on mobile. In celebration of this achievement, on April 28th, all players will receive 3,000 gems as a present, 3,300 gems through a log-in bonus, and 1,200 gems through mission bingo, for a total of 7,500 gems.
Next, the next special events for the game have been revealed, which are a series of gold-themed events to celebrate the Japanese holiday period Golden Week. This includes the introduction of a new special Sync Pair Morty & Shiny Ho-Oh, as well as the following:
- A Golden Future focused around Sygna Suit Morty & Shiny Ho-Oh. This begins on April 28th
- A Solo Event, Gold Rush, begins on May 1st 2022
- On May 5th 2022, a Daily Battle “The Golden Magikarp” will run which gives eggs to hatch Magikarp including a chance at Shiny Magikarp
Finally, the team has also confirmed the following new updates and features that will be coming next month:
- Sinnoh Region will come to the Champion Stadium as of May 2nd 2022
- The Johto Villain Arc will begin on May 19th 2022
- A new Legendary Gauntlet will run on May 24th 2022 themed around Regirock, Latios and Tornadus
- Major UI updates will be coming to help make the game easier to play, with the first update revolving around menus for strengthening sync pairs.
