Pokemon Masters News #01 Covers New Info About The Game

Pokemon Masters has introduced an  official source for Pokémon Masters information!

Join Pokémon Masters producer Yu Sasaki, Pokémon Masters Fan Club member Kana, and Pikachu as they bring you all the latest updates about this new mobile game.

You’ll be starting off with Pikachu as your Sync Pair partner. This is what trainers and their partner Pokemon are called in this game. You’ll find and befriend several other sync pairs with famous trainers from throughout Pokemon history.

Limited time events such as Story Events will let yous focus on Sync pairs that are featured during the event which let you try them out in battle even if they haven’t joined you yet.

Below are the highlights from the video.

– First event confirmed to start on Sept 2nd. It will be a special story featuring Blue.

– Blue banner will be also be available at the same time (so not sure if we’ll be able to reroll for him at launch)

– Launch Celebration missions + log in bonuses confirmed. They mention that after completing this, you will have enough gems for one multi 10-pull. The wording however, suggests, that we’ll have to complete a series of missions and/or log-in each day to reach that many gems… which is common practice to dissuade efficient rerolling. This does not confirm that rerolling will be terribly difficult though, as we still have to see how fast and how many gems are obtained on Day 1 + linking Nintendo acct.

– There will be more Pokemon Masters News videos in the future (at least 2 more). Going forward, I think this will most likely be their format for “future dev updates” in the form of a video series.

– Yu Sasaki of DeNA will be answering fan questions through their official Pokemon Masters social accounts, it’ll be presented in a Q+A format at the end of the videos. They will notify when he’s accepting questions.
