Pokemon Masters Receives Character Details For Pokemon Trainer Brendan
The Pokemon Masters Twitter account has updated with a new character profile for another trainer previously confirmed for the title.
This time, the featured character is Brendan, the main male playable trainer from the Hoenn region games. His sync partner for Pokemon Masters is Treecko, the Grass-Type Starter for the Hoenn region, and the first stage of the Forest Pokemon Sceptile. Notably, Brendan sports his look from Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire on 3DS, rather than his appearance from the original Ruby & Sapphire on GBA.
Check out his character render and profile below:
Introducing sync pair: Brendan & Treecko!
Brendan’s goal is to be like his dad, Norman—a Gym Leader he admires. He is a bit mischievous, but he is serious about Pokémon battles.

Another interesting tidbit to note is that Brendan’s profile mentions that he is Gym Leader Norman’s son, which is only true if he is selected as the player character over his female counterpart May. This could mean that Brendan is canonically the hero of the Hoenn region in Pokemon Masters, although this is provided the game intends to adhere to any sort of continuity at all.
Pokemon Masters is scheduled to launch sometime in Summer 2019 for Mobile devices.
