In the latest issue of the Weekly Famitsu, The Pokemon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara briefly touched on the brand new core Pokemon RPG coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019.

Ishihara reconfirmed that the game will release on the system in the second half of 2019 and that it is a completely new game. He elaborated the new game will include many new Pokemon, improved and enhanced graphics, and should please Pokemon fans who have played many games in the series.
