The Pokemon Company has announced some new events for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet to coincide with Japan’s 2025 Golden Week holidays.

From April 30th to May 8th 2025, fans will once again be able to challenge the Gimmighoul Tera Raid event, where there is a very slight chance that the Gimmighoul will be Shiny, currently the only way to obtain the Shiny variant of this Pokemon.

There will also be increased Shiny rate Mass Outbreak events featuring Pokemon that have Yellow/Gold colored Shiny variants:

• Wiglett in Paldea
• Growlithe in Kitakami
• Swablu in the Terarium
