Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Ranked Battles Series 2 Detailed, New Year’s Mystery Gift Code Shared

The Pokemon Company has shared details about the next series of Ranked Battles for Pokemon Scarlet And Violet, along with a new mystery gift code.

Firstly, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet‘s Ranked Battles Series 2 is set to begin on February 1st 2023, and will run till March 31st 2023. In a change from Series 1, players will be allowed to use Paradox Pokemon in Ranked Single and Double Battles.

Next, a special Mystery Gift Code was shared to commemorate the New Year. This code is MAKEWA2AMACH1NE and will randomly reward players with either a a Stardust, a Star Piece or a Comet Shard. This code will only be valid until January 15th 2023. So be sure to redeem it while you can be following the directions below:

1. Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
2. Unlock Mystery Gift by playing through the Main Story and reaching the first Pokemon Center.
3. Select Poke Portal on the X menu.
4. Select Mystery Gift.
5. Select Get via Internet to connect to the internet.
6. Watch as the gift arrives in your game. (Pokémon will appear in your party or your Pokémon Boxes.)
7. Be sure to save your game.
