Pokemon Sleep Holiday Event 2023 Announced For December 18th

The Pokemon Company has announced a new special event for Pokemon Sleep.

The event is a Holiday Winter event, and will run from December 18th to December 24th 2023. It will feature a variety of Ice-Type Pokemon, as well as a special holiday Pikachu. It will run only on Greengrass Isle, the first island of the game. A summary of the main features can be found below via Serebii:

• Double Dream Shards through sleep research
• Candy Boost which doubles the effect of candy.
• Snorlax in Greengrass Isle will  have Rawst Berries as their favourite Berry
• Pokémon of different sleep types than normal can be encountered
  • Adds Snover, Abomasnow and Delibird as well as Pikachu in a festive hat
  • The Pokémon chances are:
    • Much Greater Appearance Rate
      • Pikachu (Holiday)
    • Greater Appearance Rate
      • Delibird, Glaceon, Spheal
    • Slightly Greater Appearance Rate
      • Snover, Abomasnow
• Missions will run to get you up to 60 Pikachu Candy.
• Going to sleep on the final day will also get you 1,225 Sleep Points
