The Pokemon Company has announced a campaign for Pokemon Sword and Shield called “Pre-Order Prize Lottery” in Japan.

On July 12, 2019, pre-orders for Pokemon Sword and Shield will begin at all major retailers in Japan. From July 12 to July 15, Customers who pre-order one game will receive one chance to enter the lottery, while those who pre-order the Double Pack will receive two chances. Pikachu and Eevee might also appear at select retailers to meet the people!

Prizes in the lottery include a free order coupon for Pokemon Shirts, Poke Ball Plus, Pokemon TCG Sun & Moon Remix Bout Booster Pack BOX, Pokemon Sword and Shield Logo T-shirt, special ticket for Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, and a squeeze Poke Ball.

In addition, on July 12 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm, special Pokemon Sword and Shield leaflets which are distributed at retailers will also be distributed at various locations in Japan:
