Back in 2006, The Pokemon Company released Pokemon Battle Revolution – a Wii-only title that allowed players to enjoy Pokemon battles on a larger scale. Well, here’s a fun little peek into some of the design work behind the game!
Recently, Pokemon Sword/Shield art director James Turner shared some of his design work for the game – which features both a male trainer and female trainer. You can take a closer look below:
These designs would eventually go on to become two options that players could pick for their trainer in the game. Here are the official renders from the game below, for comparison:
We can only hope that Turner reveals more interesting peeks of his previous work for the Pokemon series like this, in the future! We’ll report back if and when he does!
