Today we have some interesting news about the sales ratio for Pokemon Sword to Pokemon Shield in Japan.
According to Dengeki Online, 1.19 million copies of Pokemon Sword were sold in Japan up till this day, while 795,000 copies of Pokemon Shield were sold. The figures tells us that the number of people who purchased Pokemon Sword to the number of people who purchased Pokemon Shield is 3 : 2, meaning for every 3 copies of Pokemon Sword sold, only 2 copies of Pokemon Shield were sold.
