Pokemon TCG Pocket Earns $12 Million In Revenue In Four Days

Following a preliminary report from Sensor Tower, market analyst site Appmagic has released its data showing just how well Pokemon TCG Pocket performed during its first few days of launch.

According to Appmagic, the game has earned around $12 million in revenue since launch, which translates to around $3 million per day. Not only is this more than Sensor Tower’s early estimate, but it is three times as much as Pokemon’s most successful mobile app Pokemon GO, which earns around $1 million per day.

Other interesting findings include the following:

  • Japan accounts for 45% of the game’s earnings, followed by the US (25%), Hong Kong and Taiwan (4% each) and South Korea, New Zealand and France (3% each).
  • iOS accounts for most of the spending at 10.5 million, with Google Play at 1.6 million
  • The game has been downloaded over 7.5 million times
    • The US makes up the majority of downloads at 29% followed by Brazil with 11%, Mexico with 6%, followed by Japan, Germany, UK and France with around 4% each.
    • Google Play makes up most of the downloads at 4.2 million, with iOS at 3.3 million
