Pokemon TV Will Shut Down March 28, 2024

The Pokemon official website revealed that Pokemon TV will be shutting down on March 28, 2024 after over ten years of streaming.

Thank you to all our fans who have enjoyed Pokémon TV over the years. The Pokémon TV app and website will sunset and the service will end on March 28, 2024. Beginning on January 8, 2024, fans will no longer be able to download the Pokémon TV app from the App Store, Google Play, Roku Channel Store, Amazon Appstore, Nintendo eShop, and Pokemon.com.

Since this announcement, the Pokemon TV section of the website has been replaced with Animation instead. The page now hosts a link to the announcement and no longer hosts the content that was previously there.

Before today, users could see rotating seasons of the show throughout the years for free along with movies from the franchise’s history by visiting the website or using the apps on streaming devices or the Switch. This comes just over two years since the app became available on the console.

App users on mobile devices and the Switch console can still view Series, Specials, Junior, and More within the app. The article also links to a list where you can watch the animated series as their is no one location where they are currently hosted.

We’ve gathered a list of places where you can enjoy the Pokémon animated series and other Pokémon content. Please continue visiting Pokemon.com for the latest Pokémon news. Thanks again for watching!

The list of places includes Netflix, Prime video, Hulu, the Roku channel, Tubi, Freevee, Hoopla, and Youtube for streaming. There’s additional locations where you can directly purchase the show as well.
