Pokemon Unite Approved By Regulators For Release In China

Pokemon Unite will finally be released in China following more than a year after its official release elsewhere.

In China, video games have to go through an approval process and receive a license from authorities before they are made available to its domestic market. In the latest batch of approved titles announced on Wednesday, 45 international games received the green light to be released, including Pokemon Unite which was released all the way back in July 2021. Other notable titles that were approved include Klei Entertainment’s Don’t Starve and Gwent: The Witcher Card Game by CD Projekt Red.
