Earlier today, The Pokemon Company and Tencent announced a new Pokemon MOBA game called Pokemon UNITE, which is currently in development for Nintendo Switch and smartphones.
Unfortunately, reception to the game hasn’t been positive, as many people were expecting The Pokemon Company to announce a new Pokemon Let’s GO Johto game during the June 24 Pokemon Presents.
As of 9:30am EST, 28 minutes after the conclusion of the Pokemon Presents, the June 24 Pokemon Presents video has received 55,000 dislikes, and only 39,000 likes. This means close to 60% of those who gave an opinion on the video dislike it:
The official Pokemon UNITE trailer fared even worse – it received 13,000 dislikes and 4,100 likes, which means over 76% of those who voted hate the game:
