Pokemon X Hatsune Miku Collaboration “Project Voltage” Announced

The Pokemon Company has announced a new music collaboration with none other than Vocaloid’s Hatsune Miku.

The collaboration is titled “Project Voltage 18 Types 18 Songs”. As the name implies, it will consist of 18 songs and illustrations representing each of the Pokemon series’ 18 types:

  • The 18 illustrations will be be released from September 4th until September 18th, each imagining what Miku’s partner Pokemon might be if she was a type specialist trainer.
  • The songs and music videos will be released from September 29th, featuring samples of music and sound effects from Pokémon. Volcaloids other than Hatsune Miku will also be featured in the songs.
