Pokemon X Shonen Jump Collaboration Announced In Japan

Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, the publication that runs One Piece and other popular manga, has announced their first ever collaboration with Pokemon in Japan.

The collaboration will consist of a series of illlustrations drawn by the manga artists published in the magazine, featuring one of their characters and an accompanying Pokemon. So far, three illustrations have been released:

  • One Piece’s Luffy and Pikachu by Eiichiro Oda
  • Blue Box’s Chinatsu Shikano and Totodile by Kouji Miura
  • Me & Roboco’s Roboco and Mega Blaziken by Shuhei Miyazaki

 

The rest of the illustrations will be released as part of a group cover for 36th and 37th issue of the magazine, which will go on sale on August 4th 2025. Following this, the 38th issue of the magazine will come with a sticker for this group illustration, as well as some related giveaways.
