Just as we finally adjusted to the shock of Ash’s Pikachu speaking, The Pokemon Company has released a new teaser for their upcoming movie that is slated for next year, 13 July 2018.
It is hard to tell which generation the movie will fall in line with, it might even be cross-generational like some of the previous movies. Especially with the Switch version of the game already in development, it might actually be it. But with that classic Ash hat, who really knows?
Another thing is, according to Pokebeach, this movie will be the first Pokemon Movie not directed by Kunihiko Yuyama. It will be directed by Tetsuo Yajima instead, who has worked on storyboards of the previous movies, as well as, directed a few episodes of X&Y himself.
