Level-5 has announced a delay for Professor Layton And The New World Of Steam.

Originally planned to release this year, the long awaited new entry in the Professor Layton series has been delayed to 2026. This is to ensure that the game is delivered in its “best possible form” according to the developer’s news release.

“Although the release was originally scheduled for 2025, in order to deliver the game in the best possible form, the launch has been rescheduled for 2026, we deeply regret any inconvenience this delay may cause and greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support.”
