During the Puyo Puyo Anniversary TV Show, SEGA’s Mizuki Hosoyamada announced that Puyo Puyo Tetris S for Nintendo Switch has sold almost 1 million copies worldwide.

Puyo Puyo Tetris S was released on Nintendo Switch in April 2017. The game was also available on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in Japan.
