Last year, Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns, one of the most famous puzzle games out there, was released with great fanfare on Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, the game was plagued with issues such as lag and even crashes. In October 2019, Infinity Plus 2, the developers behind Puzzle Quest, acknowledged the issue on Reddit and promised they will release a patch to fix these issues.
Four months later, it seems the update is off the cards as Infinity Plus 2 wrote on Twitter that they couldn’t “work on a patch for the game presently”, and suggested players to raise the issue with their publisher, D3Go Games:
This suggests that Infinity Plus 2 may not have access to releasing patches for the Switch version, so hopefully their publisher will listen and act accordingly.
