The Pokemon Company has announced the first Legendary Pokemon that will be making their debut in Pokemon Sleep.

The Thunder Pokemon Raikou from Pokemon Gold/Silver will arrive in Pokemon Sleep in March 2024, available as part of a Research Event. Its fellow Legendary Beasts Entei and Suicune were also teased to follow soon after. You can check out the full details for Raikou’s event below:

Beginning at the end of March, 2024, we will be holding an event—Raikou Research!

You can exchange samples of Raikou mane that you collect during the event for Raikou Incense, which you can use to research Raikou’s various sleep styles!

Electric-type helper Pokémon will be particularly effective during this event, so we recommend raising your Electric-type helper Pokémon to get ready!
Electric-type helper Pokémon:
Pikachu, Raichu, Jolteon, Pichu, Mareep, Flaaffy, Ampharos

We’re also preparing some functions and rewards that will allow Pokémon Sleep beginners to research Raikou’s sleeping styles and befriend it.
