Previously, we reported that Nintendo’s original headquarters in Japan would be renovated into its own hotel. Well, it looks like another company will be racing ahead of Nintendo to build an even more stay-in locations for tourists!

As seen in the official image above, videogame company Atari is now working on its own brand of hotels as well! An official website states more details, such as its first location and what each hotel will contain:

“Atari, a trailblazer in the gaming industry, is pioneering an exciting new concept: a unique lodging experience combining the iconic brand with a one-of-a-kind video game-themed destination. Atari Hotels level up hotel entertainment with fully immersive experiences for every age and gaming ability, including the latest in Virtual and Augmented Reality. Select hotels will also feature state-of-the-art venues and studios to accommodate esports events. The first Atari hotel is planned to break ground this spring 2020 in Phoenix, AZ immediately followed by Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Las Vegas, NV, San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, and Seattle, WA.”

As at the time of writing, Atari hasn’t revealed any prices for its rooms. We’ll report back if and when we hear more interesting tidbits about this new project from the company.
