A few months ago, Media Molecule released Dreams, a 3D game creation system for the Playstation 4 that allows players to create their own unique gaming experiences.
Naturally, there have been many attempts by Dreams players to re-create Nintendo games for the engine, with mixed results. A quick browse through the Dreams catalog reveals numerous clones of Zelda, Pokemon, and of course Mario.
One fairly impressive Mario recreation that’s been getting the spotlight was created by the user PieceofCraft. The work replicates Mario’s movement and physics from Mario 64 to a pretty high degree of accuracy, although there are of course some minor differences.
