Nintendo fans should be no strangers to various mod jobs that transform the company’s consoles into handhelds. We’ve already seen portable GameCubes and more in the past…but today’s example might just take the cake for making us ask “Why…?”
Recently, one Japanese modder’s video has been making the rounds online – showcasing their latest creation: a handheld version of the Super Famicom (i.e. the SNES). It’s not necessarily portable, however…as it uses the whole console as its body anyway!
you can take a closer look at the bizarre masterpiece(?) below:
Admittedly, it’s still a super impressive mod overall – as it combines the Super Famicom controller and a screen into one package! Just don’t expect anyone to bring out this hulking mass of nostalgia for a road trip, though…
