Random: Nintendo Removes “Bikini Chef” Machine Designs From Kirby Air Riders
Following the release of Kirby Air Riders, players have been having fun with the “My Machine” feature that allows them to create their own custom designs for the ride machines featured in the game.
Shortly following the game’s release, a design themed on “Bikini Chef Kawasaki” quickly climbed up the top of the rankings for most popular machines. Bikini Chef Kawasaki is a famous meme within the Japanese Kirby community where players jokingly speculated that Chef Kawasaki was wearing a microbikini underneath his apron. However, this machine was soon removed from the public listing, with one player lamenting “Deleted. I’ll never forgive Nintendo”

Seemingly undeterred, another design featuring Bikini Chef Kawasaki quickly appeared and took the top spot once again. Unfortunately, it seems this design has since also been removed by Nintend according to VGC.

It is clear at this point that Nintendo is likely not a fan of their character being depicted in this way, and its likely that other machines with similarly risque concepts are also at risk of being removed.
