As a number of readers will know by now, Pokemon Sword/Shield’s art director James Turner is still a fairly active illustrator even when he isn’t working on the Pokemon franchise itself. In fact, Turner has had a particular penchant for drawing adorable fanart of Nintendo’s pink puffball Kirby in some truly bizarre scenarios – and these past weeks have been no exception!
Recently, Turner shared more of his personal doodles – where he conjures up his own hypothetical version of what Kirby’s “evil” counterpart might look like. Taking cues from how the greedy Wario contrasts Mario, this not-so-heroic inversion of Kirby would be lazier and certainly not as nice!
