Random: Ring-Fit Controller Modded To Play Elden Ring
YouTuber Super Louis 64, who is famous for modding the Ring Fit controller to play The Legend Of Zelda, Dark Souls III and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, has returned to the spotlight with another brutally challenging game.
In his latest adventure, Super Louis 64 has modded his Ring Fit controller to play From Software’s latest title Elden Ring, a game which is already difficult on its own, let alone being played on the Ring-con. As explained in this Twitter post, Super Louis has the controller set up that he needs to run in real life in order to run in game, and has to actually squeeze the Ring-con to attack and squat down to heal.
Despite the apparent difficulty, Super Louis has already streamed several hours of the game on Twitch and Youtube using this setup, and even managed to beat one of the bosses (Bloodhound Knight Darriwil) on his first try.
You can check out a highlight of this moment along with the explanation of the setup below:
Whoa hey everyone! I've seen questions about this and here's how it works (a larger breakdown video will come soon).
This is an attempt to bring the Ring Fit controls over to Elden Ring! Running/Jogging unlocks my Joysticks for movement. Squatting or Knee lifts uses items! pic.twitter.com/6IlQcZsecT
