Last month, players encountered a game-breaking bug in the Final Fantasy spin-off Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, where the game could not be played on leap day February 29th.
Now, Square Enix has pushed out a patch that corrects this error, meaning that the game will no longer experience the same malfunction on a February 29th. The full patchnotes also apologize for the “major inconvenience”, and that the developers would “greatly appreciate” players’ continued support of the game.

Although the next leap year is four years away, by which time everyone would probably have moved on, it’s good that Square Enix patched out this bug for players who might still be playing the game then.
