A new, unexpected way of playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has went viral on the internet in Japan – hide-and-seek.

Here’s how it works – one player hides somewhere around the course, while the other tries to find them. The amount of time it takes to find the hidden player is measured and compared across multiple courses to determine the winner.
